Dr. Nwangwa Uzonna is a visionary entrepreneur, accomplished finance professional, strategic business leader, and the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Irvin Global and Investment Group, a Nigerian finance house established in 2016 with a core mandate to provide accessible financial solutions and credit facilities to individuals and businesses.

With more than 14 years of experience in commercial banking before transitioning into entrepreneurship, Dr. Nwangwa developed a strong understanding of financial services, relationship management, credit, business development, and the Nigerian financial landscape. Dr. Nwangwa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Babcock University, Ilesha-Remo, Ogun State.

Before founding Irvin Global and Investment Group, Dr. Nwangwa spent over 14 years in the commercial banking sector, where he built significant expertise in financial services and developed valuable professional relationships. His banking career exposed him to the realities of individuals and businesses seeking access to capital and strengthened his conviction that finance can serve as a powerful instrument for economic empowerment when deployed responsibly.

As GMD/GCEO; Dr. Nwangwa provides strategic leadership and direction for the organization. Under his leadership, Irvin Global has expanded its operations through branches in strategic locations, bringing its financial services closer to Nigerians and making access to credit and other financial solutions more convenient.

Dr. Nwangwa is particularly passionate about Jesus Christ and about encouraging people to develop a closer relationship with God. His faith influences how he approaches leadership, business, relationships, and service. He believes that integrity, excellence, humility, responsibility, and compassion are essential qualities for anyone entrusted with leadership.

Through Irvin Global, he has championed financial empowerment by making credit facilities available to more than 10,000 individuals and businesses. These interventions have enabled customers to meet immediate financial needs, expand businesses, acquire productive assets, and pursue opportunities that might otherwise have remained out of reach.

Under his leadership, Irvin Global has developed a workforce of more than 1,000 employees, creating opportunities for young Nigerians to acquire experience, develop their talents, and contribute meaningfully to the financial services industry. He believes that organizations have a responsibility to build people while building businesses.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Dr. Nwangwa is deeply committed to social impact. He is a Co-Founder of the Irvin Global Foundation, through which he supports initiatives focused on helping vulnerable people, empowering women and girls, and contributing to community development.
